LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Jim Stamas, R-Midland, announced on Friday that he will tour the Flint water treatment plant on Monday.

Sen. Jim Stamas, chairman of the Joint Committee on the Flint Water Public Health Emergency; and
Rep. Ed McBroom, R-Vulcan, co-vice-chairman of the committee.

A tour of the Flint water treatment plant by leaders of a joint committee tasked with reviewing the investigative findings surrounding the Flint water crisis and recommending solutions.

The Joint Committee on the Flint Water Public Health Emergency was created to review the findings concerning the Flint water emergency, take testimony on the mistakes at all levels of government that led to this situation and explore potential policy legislative actions to prevent a similar disaster in the future.
